Terms of use

Nearfolk is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page adds a short summary: Nearfolk is a personal tool for remembering to keep in touch, Plus is an optional purchase handled by Apple, and you are responsible for what you write on cards.

Which agreement applies?

Apple's standard terms apply to Nearfolk: Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The summary on this page does not replace it.

What is Nearfolk?

Nearfolk is a personal tool for remembering to keep in touch. It does not send messages itself, is not a social network and is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. Message and Call open Apple's own apps.

How does Nearfolk Plus work?

Plus is offered as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.

A free trial, if offered, becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Prices are shown in the app by the App Store.

What are you responsible for?

You are responsible for what you write on cards and share. Please add only people you know and share cards with them in good faith.

Is there a warranty?

Nearfolk is provided as is. Reminders are best effort and depend on your iOS notification settings.

Can the terms change?

The terms may be updated, and the date in the app shows the latest version. For questions, see support or read the privacy policy.
